TGIF - enough said....got my 2nd new staff hired this week. He'll start on Feb 21st which will be good but training someone is time consuming too so I'll probably see the benefit of a new hire by the end of March.
Been a busy week with the boys - speeches/memory poem and lots of test/homework this week. We had a fun weekend last weekend - went across the border shopping and stayed over. Nice break, kids swam, we shopped and didn't have to cook or clean.
I have a house to tidy this weekend, some work to do and I'll get to the gym. Next week is super busy at work which is ok - finally get to meet the staff I hired based on a phone interview.
Quick poll:
When is your Spring/March break?
ours is the 2nd full week of March
Any plans for it yet?
Yes - heading to Wisconsin Dells and Chicago with the boys and a great friend and her son.
I have 2 boys with b-days this month (hence my TP name), any creative suggestions on something fun to do on their actual b-day? I think their parties are all now fairly organized.
I'm thinking of making them a fun breakfast nothing too creative.
Have a great weekend!!!

Change in plans for me. Ex is home so he took the boys. I am waiting on a friend and then we are headed out line dancing. Getting stuff done around the house tomorrow. Not sure what is up for Sunday or when my boys are coming home.
I got my fireplace working this week and my new dryer arrived so I am thinking there will be a fire and laundry this weekend. Finally got rid of the ugly 80s insert and put on glass doors and had the chimney inspected and cleaned. It looks so much better.
When is your Spring/March break?
Same as febmom.
Any plans for it yet?
Nope. I don't' think we will do anything.

I do cake and ice cream for breakfast. When they wake up, we sign happy birthday and then eat cake. Not very creative but it is fun!

After a slow week last week, it's been busy this week with month end etc. And we just got our new benefits plan and guess who gets to be the administrator??
UGH I hate that stuff lol!! Dd is going to her Dad's on Saturday after dance and won't be home until Sunday around dinner time
What to do...what to do??? A friend mentioned going to a movie, but honestly, I'm not so sure I want to go out lol...might have to just hang out at home alone - I'm craving some quiet down time!
When is your Spring/March break?
They have noon dismissal on the Thursday (April 5th) before Good Friday, then are off the entire week of Easter and go back to school on April 16th. They also have a week of in Feb.
Any plans for it yet?
No, she'll probably just hang out with friends while I work *sigh*

We either go out for dinner to a restaurant of their choice, or they pick the dinner they want at home, and then we always at least have a cupcake or cake for the birthday child (depends on how many parties we've ended up having lol)

TGIF is right!!! It was a long week... meetings, class in the city, sports and then a little date, lol! It was a first meeting that went well and there was talk of planning another date soon! :-)
Ds is with his Dad again this weekend as we made some switches so ds could attend a special family event with his Dad. He'll be with me the next two weekends so I'm glad I could go on this date when I did, haha! The rest of my weekend will be pretty low key. I have quite a bit of work to do and of course the usual cleaning and fun stuff like that. I think I need to actually shovel the driveway, lmao. Haven't had to do that all year. My SUV would have gotten through that little bit of snow at the end of the driveway but it appears that my new to me car isn't as tough...
When is your Spring/March break?
Last day is March 23 and we return April 2. Then we are off again the next weekend for Easter.
Any plans for it yet?
The tentative plans are that ds will be with his Dad for the first half of the break while I do things at home. Then we'll be in the city together visiting friends and family. I am really looking forward to that! I might also do some stuff at school and start to get ready for baseball season. There is always a lot of paperwork to take care of and my co-worker and I do most of that for our community centre.

My ds's birthday is in the summer so we're usually with family for his birthday (or the night before). He gets to choose the dinner menu for his day and for breakfast, I always make him pancakes with a birthday candle in them! Not necessarily creative but it's special to us.
Happy Birthday to your boys! :-)

That is a very creative bday morning idea...cake for breakfast is awesome and special!

I think you are still experiencing the TP computer bugs and your posts are losing the formating since I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have typed it out like this.
The fix for me was to delete the cookies and temporary files on my computer so it picks up the new version of the TP web site.

"TGIF - enough said"....Agreed! Actually I guess it is TGIS now.
I have fallen very far behind on my school work. This week the boys are with their dad so I have a long list of to-do's. Lots of school work, house cleaning, laundry, groceries, etc. Hopefully it'll all get accomplished!
It was not really an unusually busy week but I've been so exhausted in the evenings that I've done nothing which felt good too.
Quick poll:
When is your Spring/March break?
I get mine Feb 21 week but I still have to go to my placement, I just really get Monday and Tues off of my classes. I might go to my placement one extra day that week as well to bank that day. I have to put in all my hours to get my credit and I don't have much wiggle room and I get nervous each time my kids look like they might be getting sick!
My boys are on break march 12 week but this is the first march break they'll spend the week with their dad (assuming we have this new agreement signed which has been in his lawyer's hands for over a month).
Any plans for it yet?
None.

I started a tradition where they woke up to one special helium balloon on their birthday (when they were 1) and they've expected it every year since! Otherwise, it depends on who they are with and we take it year by year. Sometimes I pick them up for a special lunch from school, sometimes we go out, etc. Not much help I'm afraid!

It was a problem I raised in tech assistance and tech support say they have solved the problem. delete your history of cookies and temp internet files, the log into tp again and it should be resolved.
