When do the garden centres usually open in Nova Scotia?  Has anyone seen sod available yet?  What about hanging baskets?

If we don't have a private sale come through earlier we expect to be listing our house on May 16th, and the backyard needs some beautifying.

i'm in the Hammonds Plains area and there are 2 out here opened - Farmer Clems and Springvale Nurseries, also I think Sobey's and Superstore garden centers are opening this weekend or next. All the garden centers around here are supplied by Musquodoboit Valley Sod, so you might want to get it directly from them. Good luck with the house.
