I have to brag!!!

My oldest graduated today!!   500 grads in her class.. yikes..

She graduated with honours (Ontario Scholar)..

She is off to University in the fall.. the first in my family to do so (the rest of us never applied to university.. )..she had a high enough GPA to obtain an entrance scholarship as well

I am so very proud of her - she worked her tiny butt off for every mark.. it didn't come easy. 

AND on top of it all - she was also playing in the band during the awards and stood up and played a solo (bohemian rhapsody) .. man.  she is awesome

AND I almost made it through the entire event without crying.. I held it together and in the last 15 min when the valedictorian was giving his awesome speech and he stopped to give a very heartfelt and emotional thank you to his parents.. I couldn't hold it any longer.. lol..

sigh.

I have no idea where the years have gone... but apparently 18 of them have passed by!!

That's a huge graduating class!

Kudos to you (and her) for her accomplishments, it sounds like her future is bright!!! I also have one that graduated this year too. I also have NO idea where those almost 18 years have gone either!
