Anyone doing home made Christmas gifts.  I am looking for some ideas. 

I am doing the usual scrapbook calendar for my mom and a set of cards for her also.  I think I will make coupon books for the kids with some fun stuff in them and not sure what else.

I am making quilts with matching pyjama pants and pillowcases for my nephew (2) and my niece (7)--she already has a quilt but I am going to make her the pyjama pants and pillowcase too!

We draw names here, and you get two kids to buy for in the cousin section.

I will probably make my own kids pyjama pants and pillowcases too. I have a HUGE pile of flannel with snowmen on it to use up!lol!

Will be looking forward to the responses!!!

We are doing birdseed ornaments for the trees outside, sugar and salt scrubs, tile coasters and larger tiles with the kidlets handprints on them for hot pots.

I am making my sister some crochet dish cloths and a friend of mine's daughter I am making a scarf for... going to try to do the eternity loop scarves.

I am making lots of cute stuff, without giving away too many details, cuz my sis and SIL lurk here and I want it to be a surprise!LOL!
My older nieces I think are getting recipe boxes and cooking stuff, aprons etc. and a magnetic board if I get can it to come out right, LOL!

the littles are getting blocks.

the twins are getting stuff for their airplane ride to Florida, an eye spy book that is made with stickers and another of pictures my girls are taking of stuff.

I'm also doing wood craft for my sis and SIL, just not sure what exactly yet. or maybe I am sure and just am not sharing!LOL!

they are also all getting a wooden chalkboard Cmas countdown -I;m getting them done tomorrow for the beginning of Dec.

My mom will be some sort of a calendar and likely a wreath. I've got several cute ones on the go right now!

Can you share about the scrapbook calendar? I always make a Walmart photo calendar, but I'm up for being more creative!

Some of you might remember me asking about what to do with some heirloom handkerchiefs I inherited.
I have decided to make some angels (tree decorations) and bouquets of rosebuds out of them (which I think can also be put on the tree) and give them to my mom (it was her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother they came from).  I found instructions online.  I also always make her a photo calendar every year - she especially appreciates this because we live far from her.  One year, in honour of all the work she and I were doing on the family tree, I made the calendar out of all the oldest photos I could find (I mean, OLD).  It was pretty neat.

Both of our families are having homemade Christmas this year..thankfully we also draw names!

I'm making my SIL a framed chalkboard for her kitchen.

I'm stumped for my 21yr old college student BIL.(i'm thinking snack foods)

My nephews are getting stick horses.

My nieces are getting hair stuff organizers made out of Kicking Horse coffee cans.

My girlfriends want  to do a homemade exchange too..I'm thinking of trying metal stamping and making necklaces.

Oh and teachers are getting white chocolate/caramel/pretzel popcorn.

so far I have made two hats, two scarves, two touques, a pillow cover and a pair of fingerless gauntlets.  I hope to have time to make up a few more things but time is flying by as usual, lol.
